My life, when I choose to write about it, that is!

I just realised I haven't posted in this since last year! Not even really late last year, september was AGES ago!! I wish I had some interesting stories, but my life is pretty boring lately. Sian's coming down this weekend, which also happens to be skyfire weekend, so am excited about that. Preparing for another all nighter on Sat night (only with Sian, I swear, no-one alse has the stamina! lol!) working tonight, washup, same as tomorrow, don't get me wrong I like washup, its a thousands times better than open & more fun than 10-6, the only problem is that it means I miss dance class :-( I don't like missing dance class, especially when I'm getting unlimited free Macca's, look out for me on ext season's Biggest Loser, no I'm totally kidding, but lots of Macca's & little to no exercise is not good! I don't wanna end up large like most (not all!) managers...

Hmm... I'm spending a lot of money on costumes etc for this medievil festival, am very poor, too many bills to pay, need to get car fixed, not saving enough money & I haven't got any shifts from my 2nd job for about a moneth at least cuz the only shifts that were available where on the weekend Sian' is down or the weekend of Julia's engagment party >:( Maybe I should get a 3rd job, casual, but not as casual as the theatre...?

Well, I'm gonna go have a shower, then watch some movies, then go to work I guess.

Saturday night, after a manager's shift ;) I was staying back (unpaid, just because I'm nice) to help out because another manager was sick I step out of the office & see Tiernan: Stupid F*#%ing B%#$% $#^$# A$#@*#$@!!! >:(
Me: What are you doing tomorrow?
T: .. :( I don't know...
Me: Wanna go to the beach?
T: o_O you... wha... yes!!
Me: Ok *steps back into the office*

So on saunday we went to Jervis Bay, we got a little lost, but only ended up getting there half an hour after we planned too, which was pretty good! It waas really hot, the water was icy, there was so much wind... but it was so much fun! It was really warm... Mmm... I've got lost of photos too! Yay!

Today, I was working 10-6 (manager shift 1/3 this week) it was ok, I got a bit too stressed though... The crew noticed, they were all asking me if I was ok because I "looked stressed" >:(
It wasn't that bad though, it really wasn't, I was just stressed for some reason. Oh well.

I just finished dancing a little while ago & now I'm half watching SVU half writing this :D I love dancing by the way! Class is going great, I'm doing well, my teacher said that other dancers had commented on how much I'd been improving, so I'm happy! Anyway, I'm gonna go, SVU is getting too interesting. Ciao.

Well my birthday was interesting... I worked from 12-8PM then went out after work. Work was better than expeceted! I got to wear a manger's shirt (one of the other manager's loant it to me, she's the only one who's even a similar size, but she's still tiny!) I felt special! Mum did my hair real nice, & it was actually a good day at work, lots of trainees but still good! It got super busy just after lunch when all the crew had gone (well, most anyway) but just when we're getting completly arse-raped in walk ALL THE CANBERRA CENTRE STAFF!!!! WTF?!?! They have the most awesome timimg! You see a pipe broke somewhere in the Canberra Centre, so all the staff had to vacate, but seeing as they were still meant to be on shift/getting paid, they sent them up here :D it was fantastic! 4 windows, a fry person, cafe + a seperate diningroom person + another person just to keep them all in order! Not to mention all the kitchen cdrew... But I was managing counter so I din't worry about that.

So after work, I met up with a bunch of friends & we went out, danced alot, drinked a bit & had a great time, started at Moose, where we dancede alot, when to Echo & had sopme really nice shaker cocktails, then went to Nitro where we ran into a bunch or kid's from work, Me: "I didn't know you were 18?" wtf? anyway, we danced again for a few hours, then headed home, I got lots of cool photos & had an awesome nite out, will have to do it agian sometime...

I had today off work at Maccas but I'm working at the theatre tonight, so I did a bit of shopping today, bought some socks & popcorn etc. Worked on my "books" for Maccas this morning, but thats about it.

I'm so sick of work. The fact that so many crew suck up to the managers & then spend all day in the office chatting to them whilst on shift whereas I get yelled at if I stop to look at the production bin to see what I need to make! Grr! I'm so sick of it! People & their double standards, the fact that the crew who are obviously just sucking up (oh yes, its obvious "You look nice today! Can I have a free burger?" it works, really well too) are treated so much better than the crew who actually work hard. And I'm not just talking about myself here, there are plenty of crew that turn up to work ON TIME (because apparently thats not the STANDARD anymore) people who come in on their days off, people who actually do their job & do it well, and yet these are the people getting the least hours, being left to do all the work while other crew sit in the office/dinning-room/crew-room doing absolutly NOTHING!!! Its all bullshit! There are crew doing drugs on shift, DEALING on shift, but because they buy the managers a drink on the weekend & be all "buddying" with them (they weren't friends before they got the job) these managers just look the other way... Maybe I should just start sucking up more? Then I can do jack-shit all day & get paid for it! Hey I'll probably even get crew memeber of the month! No! I'll go all out, fuck one of the managers & get INSTANT MANAGEMENT!!! That's it! Fuck "morals", fuck "work ethic", fuck "giving a shit when no-one else cares", I'll just do what everyone else who gets paid to sit in the office chatting & put their make-up on in drive thru does & suck up!!

Well my advie to all you kiddies out there? Hard work does not pay off. Do drugs, drink, smoke, hell do all of these, at work! Just make sure you've got your boss wrapted around your finger first, remember to "befriend" them & be sure to spend at least 2 hours a week outside work sucking up.

That's what I told my little brother when he started his shift today, why? Because I was, I have been half promoted! I'm a training manager, I'm doing 6 manager shifts this month, which is 6 times as many as last month! It's fun, I'm just excited to be doing something different, its fun! I'm working on my "books" tomorrow & as soon as I get them finished I get a manager's uniform! Yay! I'll feel special again! I'm also working a managers shift on my Birthday (Saturday the 16th for those of you who don't know, presents please?) so I'm bringing in a whole bunch of freddo frogs for people who are nice/well-behaved/wish me happy birthday! One of my mates who's a manager already is gonna loan me her shirt just for the day so I can feel extra special that day ! :D

Umm.... k? Well lets see.... I'm going to Melbourne on Friday to visit Juzzy!!! Yay! I'm leaving Canberra on thursday, making a two day trip means less driving all in one go :D

What else? I've been working like crazy & hoping for the biggest payout this week! 2 jobs, 72 hours + overtime = 1 rich Bubsy! (at leats I hope so)

T comes back from his friend's wedding tonight! I'm heaps excited to see him, I've missed him so much, even if he has only been gone 3 days.
